Maura gets into the detail, solves problems and gets things done.  She has spent years in this game and knows tax and what to watch out for.  She wants clients to be able to get on with everything else in their business or lives.  Tax should not ultimately be a worry.

Background

Maura has over 16 years tax experience in KPMG across most sectors - she worked mainly with private Irish clients but also Irish and foreign multinationals.  

Maura is a member of the Irish Tax Institute and a fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland.  She has a degree in law and accounting from the University of Limerick.

Maura frequently presents on topical tax matters to both Chartered Accountants Ireland and other industry groups.

Experience

Her experience includes advising Irish and international businesses at all stages of development from start-up, expansion in Ireland and abroad, acquisition, day-to-day operations, restructuring to ultimately succession and/or disposal. 

For larger projects, Maura facilitates a coordinated approach with lawyers, bankers, other advisers and when necessary, tax authority officials.
